■2011 The first ICH and JPHMA International Conference

The first ICH and JPHMA International Conference is going to be held at Tsukuba International Congress Centre on 9 and 10 October 2011!
We are expecting hundres of homoeopaths around the world on that day.
JPHMA congress this year is regarded as a preceding event.
The concept is 'Homoeopathic integrated medicine'. We will focus on how allopathy, other medicines to stimulate self-healing ability and homoeopathy could get together.
This year congress will become a big milestone for homoeopathy in Japan to get over antagonism such as between classical homeopathy and practical homoeopathy or medical doctor homoeopaths and non-medical doctor homoeopaths.

■What is homoeopathy

Homoeopathy is a system of medicine which German physician, Samuel Hahnemann established about 200 years ago.
It is known as a natural holistic medicine to treat mind, body and spirit and is absolutely safe medicine as original substances are highly diluted.

It is recognised as one of big complementaly medicines in Western countries and India, as it can complement/alternate weak parts in conventional medicines.
It also applicable for animals and plants and over 1 billion people over the world has been using in Western countries, India, and so on.

Our chairperson, Ms Torako Yui, has started full scale introduction of homoeopathy in Japanese people about 16 years ago.
At last, homoeopathy has been recognised widely and The Japanese government has started a project team of Integrated Treatment at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) this spring and chose homeopathy as one of 16 alternative medicines.
It has been started to verify its scientific efficiency and consider official licentiation.

Homoeopathy is expected to play an important role of Japanese integrated medicines, as it has potential of saving modern Japanese people's health with caring subconscious, mental health, autism, hyperactive, and so on, which modern medicines face difficulty.
It can also care for primary care, pregnancy, labour, harmful effects from vaccination or chemical substances, iatrogenic diseases, etc.
